LFDY and Kappa Drop Their First Joint Collection

LFDY / Kappa

LFDY and Kappa's first joint collection brings football exactly where it looks best, stylistically: onto the street.

A streetwear label from Düsseldorf, an Italian sportswear brand, and a shared passion for football: LFDY x Kappa brings together two things that turn out to fit surprisingly well.

Their first joint capsule spans twelve exclusive pieces and combines Kappa's sportswear heritage with LFDY's contemporary streetwear aesthetic.

LFDY and Kappa: A Capsule Between Stadium and Street

Both brands carry European heritage and a close connection to football. The collection sits between stadium and street, between teamwear codes and oversized silhouettes. For LFDY, founded in 2012, this isn't the label's first brush with the sport: back in 2018, it designed its own collection for Fortuna Düsseldorf, the club from its home city.

Athletic references, retro-inspired detailing and premium craftsmanship run throughout, moving classic teamwear elements into relaxed streetwear cuts. Both sides say they want to stay true to their roots while evolving, and both signatures are visible in the capsule.

From Football Jersey to Beanie: The Twelve Pieces of the LFDY x Kappa Capsule

The collection includes a football jersey, a retro jacket, a sporty track jacket, wide-cuff joggers, sweatpants, a hoodie, a polo, a tank top and a basic tee.

Rounding out the drop are a beanie, socks and boxers, twelve pieces in total, all limited-edition.

Release on 22nd August: Early Access in the LFDY App

Things kick off on Saturday, 22nd August, at 10am: anyone using the LFDY app gets exclusive early access to the full capsule, including free shipping on app orders.

The full drop follows at 11am online and at LFDY stores in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Amsterdam, London and Paris.
