Rhude founder designs new home shirt for Como

Como 1907

Como 1907 unveils its new home shirt not in a studio, but across the city. Behind the design is Rhude founder Rhuigi Villaseñor - and one detail makes this shirt special.

Como 1907 unveiled its new home shirt for the 2026/27 season without the usual studio production. Instead, the people who shape everyday life in the city were the first to wear it: restaurant staff and ferry terminal workers welcomed their guests in the new shirt, before the team even wore the new shirts on the pitch.

And the club went one step further: captain Lucas Da Cunha, centre-back Jacobo Ramón and winger Jesús Rodríguez headed to a local pizzeria themselves and surprised fans with the new shirt.

Rhuigi Villaseñor: Rhude founder designs Como's new home shirt

Behind the design is Rhuigi Villaseñor, founder of luxury streetwear label Rhude and Chief Brand Officer of Como 1907 since late 2024. He has already designed several special editions for Como, this time it's the home shirt. Together with adidas, he reinterprets one of Como's classic blue shirts: subtle tonal pinstripes, white shoulder detailing, a timeless polo collar - plus red, white and gold accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs.

And there's a first: while Como had already brought back its historic crest on special editions and lifestyle pieces, the vintage emblem now replaces the modern club badge on the home shirt for the first time. The colour accents reference the city of Como's flag and the provincial coat of arms.

A special detail hides beneath the back collar: the handwritten phrase „Semm Cumasch", meaning „We are Como" in the local dialect. Originally a chant from the Stadio Sinigaglia terraces, the phrase can now be found all over the city. „I wanted this jersey to feel familiar, as though it had always belonged to Como," Villaseñor says of his design.

Champions League premiere: a historic shirt for Como 1907

The new home shirt accompanies the club into the biggest season in its history, its 120th overall. Finishing fourth in Serie A under coach Cesc Fàbregas, Como qualified for the Champions League for the first time, the greatest achievement in the club's history.

Around ten years ago, the club was on the brink of collapse and playing in Serie D, now the top tier of European football awaits.

The new front-of-shirt sponsor for this historic season, by the way, is Revolut. The shirt is available now in Como 1907's online store and at adidas.
