Two green tones, a zigzag line and a campaign about childhood dreams: FC Barcelona's new third shirt bows to the nineties and La Masia.
FC Barcelona and Nike have unveiled the third shirt for the 2026/27 season, and it's a time machine: the design draws on the shirt aesthetics of the mid-nineties, bringing back one of the most iconic looks in the club's history. Just recently, Barça and Nike had already unveiled the away shirt from the Kobe Bryant collection.
FC Barcelona third shirt 2026/27: two green tones in a nineties style
Two shades of green define the shirt: "Verd Frost" and "Cactus Dust" share the surface, separated by a zigzag line running from top to bottom, splitting the shirt into two halves, with the Spotify logo sitting right in it. The back carries the Barça Foundation emblem, and one detail on the sleeve separates the versions: the men's shirt carries Midea, the women's shirt BIMBO.

The shirt is made with a jacquard structure and Nike's Aero-FIT technology, designed to promote airflow. The real message, though, is visual: anyone who remembers Barça's nineties shirts will spot the family resemblance immediately.
Abans que jugadors, culers: a campaign about the club's own DNA
The shirt is accompanied by a campaign under the motto “Abans que jugadors, culers”, which translates to: before they were players, they were culers. It tells of something the club claims as its own: many of the professionals wearing the crest today came through La Masia and stood in the stands as kids themselves, or dreamed in the schoolyard of defending this crest, long before they actually did.
The launch film weaves in fragments of the club anthem, a nod to the culers that shows the players as part of the club's own fanbase. The third shirt thus becomes a symbol of a bond that has grown rare in elite football: between those who watch and those who play, united under the same crest.
The shirt is available from August 12, exclusively in the stores and online shops of Barça and Nike at first. From August 17, it rolls out to all other retailers.
