Juventus' new third kit wears flames in Y2K style

Juventus and adidas present the third kit for 2026/27 in black and gold, with a flame graphic that recalls the early 2000s. And a name that says it all.

Juventus and adidas have unveiled the new third kit for the 2026/27 season, already the second kit drop in quick succession: just recently, the club and its supplier presented the new away shirt in pink complete with adidas' Trefoil. The third jersey builds on a black base with tonal flame graphics and gold details, and along the way, it tells the story of what the club's name actually means.

Flames in Y2K style: the new Juventus third kit

The flame graphic runs tone on tone across the black shirt and is worked directly into the fabric, giving the jersey texture and movement. It also underlines the deliberately rebellious character Juventus attributes to the third kit. The look consciously references the early 2000s, the years when flame motifs shaped fashion, music and tuning culture alike.

The gold details set the contrast against the black base: the three stripes on the shoulders, the adidas logo and the Juventus crest, sharply set off against the dark background. A clean crew-neck collar keeps the look tidy. The third kit is completed by black shorts and socks, also featuring gold accents and tonal flame graphics.

We Are Youth: why the Juventus kit celebrates youth

Behind the design sits the campaign “We Are Youth. Since 1897,” and it leads straight back to the club's origins. Juventus itself speaks of a design inspired by the very essence of the club. The club carries its idea in its name: iuventus is Latin for “youth,” chosen in 1897 by the students of Turin's Massimo d'Azeglio grammar school who founded the club. The new kit picks up that idea and brings it into the present with flames, gold and Y2K references, in a design that comes across far younger than the club's classic black and white.

The new third kit is available now online via the Juventus store as well as at adidas.
