Deep dark green, woven tonal stripes and a campaign shot in Bremen's historic cotton exchange: Werder Bremen and hummel complete the 2026/27 kit set with a deliberately understated away shirt.
SV Werder Bremen and kit supplier hummel have unveiled the away kit for the 2026/27 season, completing the club's full kit set. After the eye-catching third kit and the classic green-and-white home shirt, the third jersey takes a different tone: deep dark green, a pared-back design, and a finely woven tonal stripe pattern.
Dark green and tonal stripes: the design of the new Werder away kit
The details carry the accents: geometric elements in orange, white and dark green frame the collar and cuffs, while the white hummel logo and the brand's signature angles on the shoulders provide contrast. The Werder diamond with champion's star sits on the chest.
"The jersey combines timeless elegance with sporting character and fits perfectly with our aim of bringing tradition and modernity together," says Klaus Filbry, chairman of the SV Werder Bremen executive board. He said he was confident players and fans alike would wear the shirt with pride, "in the stadium, while travelling, or in everyday life."

Behind the kit sits the concept "The Fabric of Werder," linking Bremen's textile history to the club's identity. For decades, the Bremen Cotton Exchange was a central trading hub for cotton, and that's exactly where the campaign was shot: inside the historic building, whose architecture now frames the images.
“The tonal stripes, the geometric details on the collar and cuffs, the nod to Bremen's textile tradition – every decision reflects what Werder stands for,” says Lars Stentebjerg, CEO of hummel. He added that the brand was proud to present fans with a shirt “that works just as well on the terraces as it does in everyday life.”
The away kit rounds off a season in which Werder has visibly sharpened its identity, from the new visual identity to the full kit set, ahead of the new Bundesliga season. The new jersey is available now via the Werder online shop.
