Loewe puts Spain’s national team in a suit

Bruno Staub / Loewe

The Madrid luxury house takes over the travel wardrobe of Spain’s senior national teams for the next four years – from the 2026 World Cup to the 2030 home World Cup.

Royal-blue polo, three-button suit, the Loewe emblem on the inside of the sleeve, the federation crest on the chest: this is what Spain’s players will wear when they’re not playing. Loewe becomes official outfitter of the Spanish national football teams and will dress the senior men’s and women’s sides off the pitch for the next four years.

It starts with a photo series by Bruno Staub, shot at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas near Madrid. Pedri in a suit, with Rodri, Nico Williams, Pau Cubarsí and goalkeeper Unai Simón – five players in tailoring rather than kit. The wardrobe is designed by the duo behind Loewe, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, who took over from Jonathan Anderson just over a year ago.

This is the wardrobe the teams wear for travel, tournaments and official engagements. Beyond the polo and suit come made-to-measure pieces, casualwear, shoes and leather goods. Leather is where the house started, in Madrid in 1846.

The deal runs from the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico to the 2030 World Cup, which Spain will host with Portugal and Morocco. Four years, two World Cups, the last one at home. For a house that has spent years positioning itself as a Spanish brand, the timing is hard to beat.
