Julian Nagelsmann wore three outfits in Germany's 7-1 win over Curaçao. A look at the outfits – and what they cost.

Germany opened the World Cup with a 7-1 win over Curaçao – and Julian Nagelsmann wore almost as many looks as his team scored goals. In Houston, the coach appeared in three different outfits.

Before kickoff, he arrived in the black adidas "DFB DNA" training shirt (from €37.90), with shorts, white socks and cream-white running shoes that look like the adidas Supernova Solution 2.0 (€120).

At kickoff, he switched into a fine-knit shirt from Marc O'Polo, the national team's official fashion partner. The piece from the DFB Travel Collection is striped in dark blue, has a collar and a full button placket (€169.95).

Paired with it, the light "Mossbo" trousers from the same collection (€179.95) and brown adidas Campus ST (€130).

Why Nagelsmann Swapped His Shirt at Half-Time

After the break, the third top: a dark shirt with a print on the back that Nagelsmann had already worn at the friendly in Mainz.

He gave the reason himself: "The polo shirt is very, very warm, so – every now and then something fresh," he said on MagentaTV. The thinner fabric had been more comfortable in the Houston heat.

He chose the fan print on purpose: on the back are the names of fans he wanted to "reward a little" for the good atmosphere.

The idea that he had set a record for changing clothes, though, he wouldn't have. During the match, he said dryly, he had actually changed only once – the black DFB shirt was the outfit for arrival and the warm-up, not for the game.
