The league title and DFB Cup are getting a special keepsake at Bayern Munich. For the 2025/26 double, personalized championship rings were made, by an Amsterdam-based high-end brand with a connection to professional football.
The league trophy and the DFB Cup have been sitting in the display cabinet at Bayern Munich for months. Now the players can wear part of their double on their finger too. Personalized championship rings have been made for players and staff of the German record champions.
Trophy by Gassan, based in Amsterdam, is behind them. The high-end brand for custom jewelry presented the rings at a ceremony at the Säbener Straße.
Every Bayern Munich Championship Ring Is Personalized
The design captures both titles from the 2025/26 season in several details. The front features the Bayern crest and the lettering “Doublesieger” (double winners). The sides show the league trophy, the DFB Cup and the 2025/26 season. Each ring also carries the name of its owner and was presented in a black box.
Harry Kane said at the presentation that the ring reminds him of the team's shared success last season. Alphonso Davies already connected the keepsake to the next goal: every time the players look at the rings, they're meant to remember to keep pushing.
A Former Professional Footballer Is Behind Trophy by Gassan
Trophy by Gassan was founded by Dustin Huisman. Before moving into the jewelry industry, the Dutchman played football himself and came up through, among others, Ajax Amsterdam's youth setup.
A serious injury ended his professional career at 25. Huisman studied Commercial Economics, then worked in the fashion industry before eventually joining GASSAN. The Amsterdam family business specializes in diamonds, jewelry and luxury watches.
There, Huisman developed his own brand with Trophy by Gassan. Its work includes custom-made jewelry for athletes and other public figures, including Bayern Munich's new double rings.
Championship Rings Are Increasingly Finding Their Way Into Football
Championship rings have a long tradition in North American sports. In leagues like the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL, they've been personal keepsakes for champions for decades.
In football, they're more unusual, though by no means entirely new. Bayern Munich already had a precursor back in 2016. To mark the club's 25th German championship, they handed out 64 championship rings made by Thomas Sabo to players, coaches and staff.
After RB Leipzig's DFB Cup win in 2022, Emil Forsberg also picked up on the idea. On his initiative, personalized rings were made for the players to commemorate the club's first major title.
At the 2026 World Cup, championship rings for the world champions were introduced for the first time in the tournament's history. A total of 30 rings were made for the winning team. Spain won the final against Argentina, claiming the new keepsakes alongside the World Cup trophy and gold medals.
Two Spanish world champions received additional rings from their kit supplier Under Armour. Together with jewelry brand Hoorsenbuhs and streetwear label 424, the brand had its own solid gold championship rings made for Ferran Torres and Pedro Porro. Both players are under contract with Under Armour.
With the new double rings, this idea now gets its latest variation in German football. Vincent Kompany's team won the German championship in 2025/26, followed by the DFB Cup. In the Berlin final, Bayern beat VfB Stuttgart 3-0.
